متى نستخدم do و does
- تستخدم do عندما يكون الفاعل جمع ” I, you, we or they”.
- تستعمل does حين يكون الفاعل مفرد “he, she or it”.
استخدام “do” و “does” في الجمل
عند استعمال “do” في جملة أو “do” داخل جملة ، فلن تكون بالعادة هي الكلمة الأولى فيها ولكن يمكن أن يكون موقعها في أي مكان آخر في الجملة. كما يمكن أن ترى كيف يتم استخدام “do” مع الفاعل الجمع و “does” للفاعل المفرد، أمثلة على هذا:I want to do my best in this race
That does not make any sense
We do not care about imaginary creatures
I do love a good comedy
They can do better than that
He believed he could do it
The machine does everything for us
If you do what I tell you, it will be fine

استخدام “do” و “does” في النفي
في وقت استخدام “do و does” في النفي ، تضيف”not “أو” n’t “، وتبقى “Do not” و“does not“ مع نفس الضمائر مثل do و does بعد الفعل ومن الأمثلة على هذا:I do not want to go to school

She does not play tennis

مقارنة بين do و does
- do تعتبر هي فعل متعد وله فاعل ومفعول به كما إنه فعل عمل معناه أداء أو عمل أو تنفيذ أي مهمة أو نشاط ومن حهة أخرى ، فإن do تعد مجرد تصريف فعل “do” الذي يستعمل مع المضارع المفرد لضمير الغائب.
- في حين نستخدم كلمة “do” مع الأسماء الجمع مثل المعلمين والآباء والأطفال والقضاة والكلاب والقطط وما إلى هذا، ولا تستعمل الأسماء المفردة مثل معلمتي وأمي والطفل والقاضي والكلب والقطة ، إلخ.
- يتم استخدام do مع ;g الضمائر الشخصية ، وصيغة المتكلم المفرد “I” ، والجمع “We” ، والضمير الثاني “You” وصيغة الجمع “They” في مقابل ذلك ، يتم استخدام “does” أيضًا مع شخص ثالث منفرد he / she / it ,علاوة على ذلك.
- كما يتم استخدام do أيضًا مع الضمير التوضيحي They وتلك بينما يستخدم مع this و that.
- tنستخدم “do” ، لتشكيل جمل حتمية ، أي أوامر إيجابية أو سلبية ، لكننا لا نستخدمها أبدًا لإنشاء جمل حتمية.[4]
