Today,I'm going to explain for you "Relative Pronouns"
In the beginning:
في البدايه
Why do we use relative pronoun?
لماذا نستخدم ضمائر الوصل؟
1-We use relative pronouns:
• After a noun, to make it clear which person or thing we are talking about
نستخدمها بعد الاسم ليجعل الشئ اللي نتكلم عنه واضح سواء كان شئ او شخص
We use relative for two reason:2-
نستخدم الضمائر لسبيبين:
1-To replace the subject or object
يحل محل الفاعل او المفعول به
2-Linking sentences to each other
ربط الجمل ببعضها البعض
The most common relative pronouns are who,whom
,which,that and whose.
الضمائر الموصوله المشهوره who,whom,that,which و whose
1-Who
We use as subject for people.
*ضمير وصل بمعنى الذي التي ...etc
*نستخدمها لتحل محل الفاعل العاقل ..
Example:
This is Muhammad. He is a doctor
هذا محمد.محمد هو دكتور
كيف نربطها ببعض؟
This is Muhammad
الاسم الموصوف
He is a doctor
جمله الوصل التي تصف الاسم الموصوف
*نبحث عن الاسم الموصوف (Muhammad) ولانه عاقل نستخدم who
*نحذف الضمير (she) في الجمله الثانيه ونضع بدلها Who
*نضع جملة الوصل بعد Who
تصبح هكذا
This is Muhammad who is a doctor
More examples:
My friend cooks well. She lives here
تطبخ صديقتي جيدا.هي تعيش هنا.
My friend who lives here cooks well
The woman was smart.She discovered radium.
كانت المرأه ذكيه. اخترعت هي الراديوم.
The woman who discovered radium was smart
The man is friendly.He lives next to me
الرجل ودود.يعيش هو بجانبي.
The man who lives next to me is friendly.
